Halloween

It is time to hunker down and embrace the dark half of the year. Happy Samhain everyone!

Drink from Goblets of Cheery Doom

Eat devilish fairy cakes
Carve a wicked Jack
I am so glad my Art degree hasn't gone to waste! Did you dress up or do anything special for Halloween?

Happy Halloween! I'll be taking my son out to a few houses to see how he likes trick-or-treating. I'm also having a scary story giveaway on my blog.

Not doing anything special for halloween except stay in a darkened house with cat until all the trick or treaters go away! LOL!

Take care

Halloween is not a big thing in UK so it will be an evening like any other - probably:-)

I'm gonna be the same as jabblog. I also live in the UK so not much will happen.

We won't be seeing trick or treaters either since the driveway is full of a 5 ft mountain of dirt since we're making changes to our garden.

I love the cakes! They look scrumptious!

I hope I get trick-or-treaters tonight! I live in an apartment building and sometimes we get a handful and sometimes not. But I always get fun size chocolate bars anyway because my husband and I don't mind having to eat it all ourselves, heehee!

Happy Halloween, Jayne!

Spooky goblet you have there :)

No, not doing much it seems only the university students do the Hallowe'en dressup thing here in Ireland. But then I live in the university area and there are not many children around.

I live across from a churchyard with some very old gravestones behind the old stone wall. Usually in summer the teenagers congregate there & drink & make lots of noise until all hours. Guess they are not afraid of ghosts!

Great looking jack-o-lantern! Mine always looks like a three-year-old did it. It's a good thing I have my three-year-old son to blame. Happy Halloween!

We spent most of the 31st on the M6 and M5 driving south. No trick and very few treats. However, I did carve a couple of pumpkins for my granddaughter the day before. See my blog in a day or so.

Those fairy cakes look a bit erotic--or maybe it's just me. :)

Happy Halloween!

Happy Samhain/Halloween to you!

I wore a long black coat and boot + wore a witch's hat while my daughter trick-or-treated. Not the most inspired costume, but fun.

Lovely photos!

I've just realised I haven't been by here in ages! Hope you're well - happy Hallowe'en.

Nothing special for Halloween this year. Don't know why...neighborhood folks had so much else going on. Plus, kids go to organized events to trick or treat. Sorry I haven't been by *hangs head* but have been under my rock getting stuff done.

I was visiting my nephew and his family. I didn't dress up, but his daughter and two of her friends did, hoping to look like vampires. Actually, they ended up looking like three pretty teenagers wearing black. :-)
